In 2026, Dr. Hope continued to advance his research at the intersection of emerging technology and digital security. His current primary initiatives include Automating Authority: A Literature Review of AI in Law Enforcement, which analyzes the current and future potential of artificial intelligence within the justice system, and a study on pedagogical innovation titled Tuning In: The Impact of Podcasts on Student Learning. This work reflects a commitment to both technical rigor and the advancement of educational methods in information technology.
Beyond these core studies, he remains active in investigating the spillover effects of AI policies within criminal justice frameworks to enhance cybercrime detection and investigation. His dedication to professional engagement is further demonstrated through his participation in international conferences and his ongoing work to improve community cybersecurity awareness.
